Marionette

By Dragonfly

Bend me backwards
Arch my back
Giggle as my spine begins to crack
and pull on little, thin, strong as hell strings
and bend and pull where you want me to be

I will laugh
when you want me to
and pretend every word you say is true
because I am your puppet your marionette
your little puppy, cutest pet

watch me fall
neat, yet limp
when you let my wires slip
waiting for another word
for what to do, but alls unheard

For now I lie
waiting for you
to tell me yet another thing to do
yet here I lie under your bed
watching you bring others as I was led
