A false Love

By Dragonfly

She coerced me into the maw of the darkness.

Her mousy, flaxen hair falling like tendrils around her placid face

Scarlet red lips twisting in a wicked smirk

as she declared me a lifeless, inanimate, corpse expired and  erased from memory.

My soul aches as it is lies glacial, frozen in time for all to see

and she just smiles putting on such an extravagant show

making sure to make me the spectacle,

 butt of all her humors

I remember times of adulation

and these times of come to lust

for sweet, sweet begin agains

                                               and a reminiscence of love

                                                Cherish me with admiration

and wrap me in your sincerity

a safety blanket for my mind

and a insecurity to my soul

She took away that that sense of love

and replaced it with regret

and lied my soul in a casket

it's perfect little bed

And as I spit fire rage

she gets tired of my me

And there she left her empty mug

on my table of a heart
