An Abstract Stroll Through The Writing Process

By WoundsLikeStars

I can't think when I write

And I can't write all day....

Oblivious to the external,

Transfixed with the internal

A selfish masochistic introvert, am I

Obsessed with turmoil

Blind to contentment

Sickened by metaphors,

All empty as barren crypts

Irony still seems to appease me

What I feel is profoundly common

Utter shit wrapped in a designer label

The eloquence has finally seeped down my leg

Must....end....with....an....original...and...thoughtful....phrase......

Sasquatch balls and Mountain Dew

Can you even get Mountain Dew anymore? Interesting thoughts here and thanks for some honest offerings. Refreshing!

May I make a suggestion? As an avid Mountain Dewer, I'd like to recommend the "Throwback" version of the soda if you can find it. I'm not getting paid to say this, but every sip is like a brand new trip to Flavor Country. Mountain Dew: Refreshment you can count on.
