Divine Offering

By gspot

i would Die to know you
give my Heart to hold you
give my Soul to be with you

i'd give my Life to show you
how Deeply i hold you
all my dreams depend on You

my Love
my Heart beats for you
my Love
my Blood bleeds for you

and every time i Kiss your lips
it binds me to my Promise
that i'll Always be with you

i Love you is what you say
then you Hide yourself away
and i'm Alone when i'm with you

my Love
my Life belongs to you
my Love
i'll die Alone with you

i feel the cold Steel in my sweaty hands
a flash of Pain
will take me to the Promised land

this crown of Thorns declares me king of fools
and the cross that drags me to my Death
is my Love for you

my Love
my Life i give to you
my Love
my Death i give to you

till Death do us part
till Death do us part
until my Death do we part

** this song was written a few years ago for my best friend who was literally moments away from blowing his head off. little did I realise several years later i would be in a surreal echo of this place, which is what you are reading about in 'Fantasie Le Mort' and 'Dark Thursday' the recurring phrase "my Love" is not in the song, it replaces the vocal hook which goes "Yeah-E-yeah-yeah" Sounds good but doesn't quite translate to paper. **
