Song to a Virgin in a Garden
By FallenSky
There she fell, ah there she fell,
Down
Where scarlet moonbeams dwell,
I held her once,
Or was it twice?
I caught a glimpse
of paradise,
These burning eyes,
My lonely eyes,
They caught a glimpse
Of paradise,
But was it real, so real to me,
I know not now, my time forgotten.
Without the words
To laud her fall
Down
To the garden's heart
Where moonbeams dwell.
In a garden she fell?
Ah yes, she fell,
caught by radiant, scarlet shards,
And so, was it once,
Or merely twice,
That I caught a glimpse
Of paradise?

"...glimpse
Of paradise?..." is how I feel, as I begin to read your poetry... beautiful words, and the rhytym flows w/ a classical style rhyme pattern which works wonderfully.
