Serenity of Destruction

By Frater Synth

Lost in between this deathly transition,
Of self-preservation and loathing hunger to escape.

Tormented and confused,
Drowning in a sea of constant expectancies.

Soul torn into pieces,
By the bitter hypocrisies of the American swein.

Analyzing the statistical anomalies,
Deep within the manipulations of ethicality.

We enter into the darkness of this world to be led ,
In to the undiscernibly vast crepuscule we call life.

We wander the shadows for what feels like an eternity,
Awaiting the awakening  into the serenity of  destruction.

Why must the swein be English? Other than that one point I like the way your words easily place the image of a person's mind fracturing apart while they try to piece it back together because they know its what they are supposed to do while they fall further and further down a dark crevice

Okay fine, I changed it from English to American to better get my point across. I know you Knew what I was referencing but the general audience who doesn't have insight to the personal experiences that sparked this piece would not fully grasp it.
