Rag Doll
By MikeShank1989
Cut from the wrong cloth, a maverick, forced to embrace another fabric
Valiantly I arise from disgrace, clear the flies from my face
Soldier
on with my knack on my back like a coat of arms
Superfluous fluency
with my native tongue became a burden
Dramatic schematics were drawn
like blueprints to confrontation
We’ve warped our societal norms,
deformed storms of gingerbread men
I’ve seen my fellow brethren
weathered from travel to the end of the tether
Never ceased unleashing
absurd adjectives
Threw vacuous verbs into the mix like chemical
additives
Simplifying for the generation of disheveled reading levels
Brought up in a faith of fear, made to evade the devil
Learning
in the end that the fallacy in the palace pertained to phallus
