The Real Me

By Invisibledarkness

Pain raining,

Like feathers falling from a broken-hearted angel,

Hurt being hidden,

Whether from me or from you,

I cannot decide,

Can you see the hurt past the smile?

The broken-heart past the cheerful eyes?

Maybe you can,

Maybe you can't.

But one day you'll see...

The real me.
