Coma

By Guillotine

I'd catch molten stars on my tongue
swallow its kismet trails
with my pride and my pain
open myself with scalpels and stardust
to prove me of my worth
and expose my rusted clockwork
.

And we'd fall back to Earth
me just a shadow
and you a kaleidoscope comet
burning down into glorious rebirth
wrapped in autumn's fingers
and praying for the rain
.
we'd shatter into reality again
murmuring in clouds and whispers
backwards into the waves
that are breaking by our ears
and let the water rush in
as I reach for another kiss.
