My dearest Autumn,

By Quietus

My dearest Autumn,

So lonely and sorrowful

Your life filled with death

Your slightest touch kills

But there is beauty within

Dying foliage

Orange and yellow

Before everything turns brown

It’s quite breath-taking

But it’s soon over

And everything turns dead

Along with myself

My dearest Autumn,

Can’t you set aside for me

A foliage leaf?

So I can always
Remember your rare beauty
Within depression…

Author's Note:

I wanted to write some Haiku :) I love Autmn, it's my favorite season. My mom gets depressed in the fall when everything dies, but I am the opposite. I love the foliage and the beauty within death. Enjoy :)
