surprise farewell

By alex herewane

she had every right to ask

why did you laugh

I couldn't tell her because I was happy

and I did'nt know why

she who could endure

levels of darkness, I could never understand

she said you don't have to go home

but you can't stay here

got up and opened the door

There was a humour, a truth and a resonance to this piece that I really liked. Great stuff :) -Carl
