Nihil Obstat
By Crush_With_Eyeliner
We pushed through
until dawn but
not really.
It's noon
in the world
of nightmares.
Troops push on
their retreat;
wet from the
lack of rain
and growing thin from
abundance
and
waste.
We push on-:
our symbolic, drunken
gestures.
Dressed in
cerement,
lavishly celebrating
this last of
days.
Nihil Obstat; (nothing is taken away)
Nothing hinders;
(nothing is given)
Nothing hinders on
this dream;
it's
noon
in the world
of nightmares.
A soft noon;
a casualty
of
equinoctial memory.

This big dark nightmare it seems.. where nothing actually weighted..real.. everything seems to be moving in slow motion..backwards..contradictions in here used very well .. unique thought to pen..
