Exhale; Begin
By Crush_With_Eyeliner
I could build
no proud towers
in this grey light.
If there
are
stars they
are hidden.
The book
of Corinthians
is a lie.
The moon is
low and
waiting;
a long
breath
exhaled.
Begin
anew,
unwashed
and
unsheathed.

oooo...i need to stifle the commentary here; 'corinthians, eh? love, love, love.......i DO like the write, it has a wee bit of pent.up.breathability in it.....but as token 'saint' and 'mad', i have mixed theories and heartfelts on the corinthians line, good sir. :}

felt like a rebirth, to me, one without cleansing.... without lies..... but um... the unsheathed... just made me think of Shade's warrior, and I chuckled despite knowing otherwise. excellent tone, imagery... novel rebirth.
