One Love

By HumanMonstrosity

With every slam, a single tear, Inebriation without a fear
Death Awaits, its presence near, My mind runs free though my body stays here
Escape into this dream, crying sky trail, Injecting dementia, all senses fail
Inducing delusions through month old sores, manipulating the mind to open locked doors
When malevolent times call for escape, crawling back from this chemical haze
has been only moments but feels like days, wondering free throughout my maze
Handful of moments till this dream-state descends, Hands sweat and shake as they pick at my skin
Only one love, the love for this sin, My mind lays in wait till freed once again...

All seasons end. Excellent write. Wary through seas of dark and dangerous waters. The end written before the begining never was. All doors may lock, without a key, trapped inside. Which side is the lightswitch on?
