It's All A Lie
By Shadow_Kissed5180
Omfg, I'm so fucking mad,
I'm don't even know if this will be a poem,
It's more like a rant.
I can't stand it when people tell me
what to do,
I can't stand it when people tell me what to say,
I
can't stand it when people tell me to wait just another day.
But
you know what really gets me?
You really want to know?
It's when
people say "I love you"
When they're just trying to put on a show.
That word makes me mad,
Makes me tremble,
Makes me cry,
Because when someone says "I love you"
They're really saying "Good-Bye"
No one ever means it,
No parent, lover, or friend,
Everyone
is a liar,
Until the very end.
When someone dies,
Everyone
says "Sorry"
But their sympathy is a lie,
Once you're gone,
They'll have a party
Dancing on your grave,
Laughing
as they cheer,
"Finally dead; did you hear?!"
So by now
I'm calm,
Sitting on my bed.
The pen no longer trembles in my
hand.
The ink runs blue,
My tears are dry.
This
paper's a little crinkled,
My door is tightly locked.
But
what do I hear downstairs . . . . . . . . .
Daddy's now yelling at
Mom.
Author's Note:

How do you survive without the love of others? Should we deaden our emotions? That seems the safest bet, but what kind of existence will that be? This is the problem I struggle with and it seems you feel the same

totally agree with everybit of this. those 3 hollow words truly mean nothing when they r said just to lift u up before u get torn down. and sadly, much of the world now days r two-faced. only thing we can do is attempt to not get too attatched, and strive not to b like them. lovely write
