Sideline movie watcher
By Dreamzz
I am the sideline movie watcher the one behind the scenes working the projector
so i can see for free.
And you said that I do nothing , but make
it worse yet without me you would of cried first.
What about
the time when i helped you get ready for that date?
The one where
i tied up your dress when you couldn't be still and wait.
And when
that boy cut it short treating you like some boring sport.
I came
over and gave you support listening to everything though long not short.
Stayed the night on the hardwood floor though i had no pajamas and it
was fucking cold.
I am the sideline movie watcher, everything
black and white.
The pictures slightly blurred to mess up the watchers
sight.
For if you saw the real things you would see the mistakes.
For there was only film to take one single take.
The film flickers
ever now and then when the memory was lost.
If on purpose the viewer
knows not.
And what about the time when I took you to prom
and you left me for a guy staring at your pom poms.
I knew it
was as friends I am not a fool, but leaving me for a guy who's face
was covered with his drool?
And then when he had a girlfriend I
rushed quickly to your side.
Told you that he was a jerk and it
would all be all right.
I am the sideline movie watcher
some vividly alive.
Making the viewer duck his head until he feels
all is all right.
And sometimes the words stutter when they are ones
I don't like to hear.
And sometimes the pictures are dimmed so i
don't have to see you tear.
As it is my job to make everything all
right.
Get none of the fame, but get to take the ride.
And
get in trouble when day turns to night or the sun doesn't rise.
What he has taken your virginity now you'll never get it back.
What he got you pregnant you tell your parents it's just fat.
When you started throwing up you told them you were sick.
Cold
not stand to see you parents ticked.
You rather stand there taking
unneeded drugs.
Than cry into your parents hugs.
And when
you told him he went and ran.
You started to cry you couldn't
stand.
Yet i held you up,
I was there it was me.
Yet
it is me you can not see.
For you blame everything all on me.
For my job is in the sidelines taking all the blame.
You
want me to help from keeping you in shame.
You want my help to make
your life right.
But yet you want me unseen in the sidelines.
So how am i making everything right.
If it is now you that i want
out of sight.
So roll the clips now okay and show the truth
of the game you play.
And still even as I show to the theater
the truth.
It will be messed up because of you.
For you I can
not hurt so i blur out the sight.
And make all the words loud except
the ones you don't like.
For I promise to make everything all right.
Author's Note:
About standing on the sidelines trying to just watch it happen, yet there are a few things you have to make okay. Did this for writing class we had to say what came to mind no writing just stadning in front of the class words flying while he wrote it.Comments on "Sideline movie watcher"
