Amantes Sunt Amentes
By Dei
(Lovers Are Lunatics)
Breath inspiration my muse.
While I orchestrate sweet symphonies of impassioned interludes.
I am a God
But I am No-thing without you.
I spin galaxies with my finger tips
Just so I can watch has they dance through your irises.
I weep oceans
That you may feel the saline breeze caress your cheek and tickle your
nose.
Every field and knoll and stream
Is a dream of You.
Every bird, and firefly
Every dew dropped rose.
I place memories inside snowflakes that you may never feel alone
When the bitter cold in so unyielding and you are on your own.
I’ll make worlds and bend cosmos just for you to rule
As the lover of a goddess
You are my king, and I’m your Fool.

Yeah, I think the sense of the god needing the mortal comes across... with the weeping, and the fourth line... and there is opportunity for interpreting the need, without it becoming to apparent or simply expressed literally... but what if there were more than acts of creation... what if the images that were created by the acts of creation actually told a tale themselves... one that perhaps paralleled the ultimate message of the power of love... or the weakness it creates, either way... just a thought... 2nd level... we have spinning and weeping, placing of memories.. and world creation... but what if the actions could be developed with a relationship and message that accompanied the message expressed on the level of the action.... just some thoughts.... be well shweets!

excellent.... I like the tone, the patience, the calm and confidence that the voice develops throughout. The imagery is godlike... and harsh... beguiling the reader with the wonder of what it means to be a creator... to be the one who becomes the world of another. Do you want "breathe" in the first line, which seems to be an invocation to the muse? (as you are calling upon yourself, ms. muse) And then I think you want "as" instead of "has" and later on I think you may want "is" instead of "in"...I like how the last line inverts the relationship established through the images developed earlier.... for whoever heard of a god being a fool? And yet... is it not love that makes fools of us all? very nicely crafted.... *bows before goddess of unworldly creation*

Oh girl...this is GOOD! Woven like a fine cloth that wrapped around my brain. Each line snapping a picture as quick as a professional photo shoot. I love love love "I place memories inside snowflakes that you may never feel alone". See that ball way over there? It was a out-of-the-park home run =)

That was a beautiful write. The feeling are captured so swiftly when portrayed on such a scale. "I spin galaxies with my fingertips". That line reminds me of some graffiti art I've seen.
