Scars of a Memory

By Miztaken4beauty

You're just another memory,
That I want to waste away.
Many fragile promises,
that never survived the day.
So strong, so weak, I'm glass.
Bend me until I shatter.
Fight to be my universe,
and the only thing that matters.
Like acid dripped across my skin,
I guess the damage is done.
But let the ocean take the stars,
You already took the sun.
So in my world the light is gone,
and I wander in the dark.
But it's a blessing in disguise,
because I'll never see the marks.

Really good post. And I agree with cloudydaze... favorite lines "But let the ocean take the stars, You already took the sun." Sadness at its finest.
