Life is but a Dream

By Dreamzz

I was standing on the edge
my wild red hair flying.
There were million of screams, but all i heard was silence.
My heart wanted to scream out of my throat.
The leaves slapped my face just as hard as you did.
I don't want to live in a sheltered life.
I'm going all the way in the top and if you can't stand it get out of my way.
Let me fall if you want.
Climb with me if you can.
Now heres the hard part letting yourself fall.
Giving it up, letting go.
Proving everyone I could do it.
So you look down where everything is silent.
And push yourself over.
As you fall you aren't really falling at all.
I am floating on a cloud.
Hearing all the screams.
Watching everything pass in a rush.
Floating down though so slowly.
Laughing almost insane.
Smiling, down, down, down.
For life is but a dream.

Good visuals throughout this one. There were some conflicts but I related them to the fact this was a dream effect. Life is but a dream............or a nightmare.
