Maybe I do believe

Forget your churches they are bird cages for God that capture only humans.
I do not believe.

You are and I are the only ones who ever made it free.
You and I are the only ones to ever be let be.
I do not believe.

You the one who stood in front of your father and said that you believe, me who said to the whole wide world i would never be free.
I do not believe.

I try to free the trapped up birds let them fly like me.
But their wings are clipped their feet are tied and they want to be left be.
I do not believe.

So me and you we are alike not Gods little pets.
We got away from all of it no more need to fret.
I do not believe.

Who said that god made the world.
If so why would their be.
People dying every day because they want to be free.
I do not believe.

Ma'am I am no sinner, but nor be I lair.
And until i see gods face in a fire.
I do not believe.

Acording to what I've heard gays should not get married.
So what they are not suppose to exist apparently?
Until I see that all is well,
I might as well go to hell.
I do not believe.

Sure maybe I'm still considering.
But until i see a sign
that really trully blows my mind.
I do not believe.

I don't know
I tried my best
Gave myself test after test.
But for reason I can't learn
to believe in a god that can't be proved.
I do not believe.

Sure I'm friends with people that do,
but hey isn't everyone even you?
I won't drag my friends into this
but bring it up i bring up my fist.
Sadly I can't.
I do not believe.

Oh what the heck maybe I do
maybe this is just me trying to fool you.
But i promise it's not I'm just not sure
I got one foot in the other out the door.
Maybe I believe....
