Don't Forget Me

By Shadow_Kissed5180

I gave so much,
You gave so little

You said you love me,
But now all I see,
Is nothing

You don’t talk,
You don’t stare,
Maybe you don’t remember when I was there

Everything seemed to be fine,
When finally you were mine

But now all I get,
Is nothing but upset

What will ignoring me do?

It’s not helping me,
So maybe it’s helping you.

You and your perfect reputation,
The one thing you so dear

To you I was nothing,
Even when I was near

You put on your perfect smile,
And made me fall for you

But that only lasted for a while,
Cause now, look at me and you

There’s nothing there,
And that’s how it always was

Just hoping that the next girl who says, “I love you”,
Is good enough

Don’t throw her away,
Like you did with me

And perhaps one day you will see,
What you missed by loosing me.
