The Forbidden Phrase
By Shadow_Kissed5180
“I love you” is not a phrase I say.
And even if I do, that doesn’t mean you’ll obey
My wish for you to repeat that forbidden phrase,
“I love you.”
But even if you do,
Will you stay?
Or will you just say it as a cruel joke,
Don’t take my love for you and turn it into a game.
Because that would just be a shame
When I say that forbidden phrase,
It’ll be for you.
So tell me,
Do you love me too?
Cause I know my love is true,
Cause I know I love you.

That phrase should be forbidden. I have found that it usually means nothing.

"I love you" is something that exposes and bares your soul to the deepest pain and agony possible. In this world, I have come to believe, everyone is going to hurt you. You just need to ask yourself if that "someone" is truly worth the pain you know you're going to endure. Love is the slowest form of suicide...
