Days Pass As Judgement
By Equinox Asylum
Unrealized in the trial of the infinate am I
My destiny set on mountains high
Yet I sigh in the valley below
Clever are the trades of carpetbaggers and soothsayers
Selling my years for counterfeit dreams
In the fabric of time, i fall through the seams
and relegate each second to the apex of nothing
The moon rises and rises
And yet rises again
In a deja vu dance across the night
With the ghost of a grandfather clock
They tick tock through shackled flight
Judgement gavels down with the hammer of Thor
Found guilty of stagnation
I am the prisoner of space where there is none
locked away to draw circles in the hour glass sand
Only to realize
That it was all a waste of time.

“Found guilty of stagnation” what I found more chilling… I sense a detachment, and yet there is something more that I can‘t quite get the words right to describe… I enjoyed this very much…
