Broken in Time

By Cherry Bear

Fog rushed the morning shore
A mist covering the sand
No more was the day before
Washed away footprints
An impression in time filed away
Perhaps saved for a better time
To life's forever changed
Casting out doubts for a single moment
Warm thoughts rose from the ocean
Two shadows in loves embrace
But only for the short day
Time drifted away
As the seasons in the heart change
To be determined on another page
Out cast lovers blown together
Crossing paths for a cycle of hope
Torn apart only to quickly to remember the steps
Looking back on a faded memories
The lines blur and the pages ripped
Tattered and torn in harmony
A rift in time remains of most uncertainties
Time seemed broken and seconds stolen
Yet it was in the moment of forever
Two lovers knew would never last
The end seemed to be easier
Then the beginning ever was.

A nice piece, capturing the intended imagery well.

That's when you know though isn't it? I liked this, it was pretty and ended with a relief and peace I really enjoyed.
