the powers that be
By disposable
you are the sand
that clings to my dress
as i glide among the waves
when i feel the grit of you
i rub you into my skin
until you blow out of my palm
as tiny polished diamonds
i cup the moonlight and swallow it whole
you make me crave the pull
the in and out
the flow of water on earth
the ebb, the grace
your face is the surf
with eyes of ocean smoothed stones
i feel you as the wind
and before my eyes are cherry blossom flurries
that rise and fall
catch and float
i fill a shell with you and pour you over my skin
and your mellifluous caress
teases and tugs
...clings
the brine of you fills the curves of my body
little pools of warmth
like tears from the angels themselves
and i feel that heaven is upon me
straddling low on this earth
this beach
my chest
hugging you close to my heart
for heaven and earth themselves
need you near me

Those first three lines especially are so so beautiful. Some of my most favourite imagery to date. Simply beautiful

so much more than a love poem,..an opening of lacerated want,..and a closing of what lies within ~ both heaven and earth reside here.

As a reader the ebb and flow of water is one of my favorite images. This flows. Thank you for sharing.
