Again / This too shall pass
By Dr Benway
You speak of patience,
the words linger,
hanging just past forever,
not nearly out of reach.
Your eyes,
they taste of pure sugar,
compelling consumption,
cavities not withstanding.
We indulge,
the smoothest skin ,
snow, it melts beneath us,
but never a shiver.
For a single second, I forget,
one kiss to remember.
Now my angel, it's back to the beginning,
where from memory we reset.
patience...
from memory we reset
patience...
from memory,
we are,
REBORN.

I absolutely love this. The imagery is simple and yet powerful. It's amazing, I could picture it. I really like this piece, I'm looking forward to reading some more of your work.

I love this.. it reminds me of pain that no longer affects me the same way it once did. Something learned besides the feeling of sadmadness was like your title, and that is patience.. well done ~669~
