If you were paying attention
By Dr Benway
If you were paying attention,
you would have noticed me dying inside.
Faith in the faithless,
Clawing at the blackness
Waiting for angels that never arrive
If you were paying attention,
you would of heard me crying.
Hiding from nightmares
Fumbling in the fog
Holding out for words that are never spoken
If you were paying attention,
you would of seen me leaving
Haunted by regret
Praying for absolution
An ulcerous romance from which all others will be judged.
If you were paying attention,
you would notice I don't care any more...

they don't notice because they are selfish and you can still be there but be gone,

With head held high. So much strength without the use of agression. Beautiful piece.
