damned pen & paper!

By allenthepope

oh the thinks you can think
I'm not Seuss or Zeus or even a doctor for that matter
just feeling a little loose in my brain...off my chain
so I let it rain on paper
ink spills and bleeds as my tongue and mind gain freedom
you know that release and relief that lets you B R E A T H E...
in.. out....refreshed...re-rested...updated and ready to be navigatin'
but not up all night stayin'
playin' those games that people's playin'
but instead, takin' my frustration out on a "not so defenseless" piece of paper
so all the thoughts that riddle me...I dribble thee onto this sheet I scribble thee...
and when the moon is aligned with Venus and the earth in between
sometimes you can find a scene beyond the screen that will actually exercise a little "free speech"
not giving a thought or a shit about the thought police, instead
ENJOY...the S L O W peace and sensation from a small piece of release into the A I R . . .
and onto that smart-ass piece of paper that tries to stay blank
looking at you like your an IDIOT!!!
or maybe it's just me...?

Hey, that bastard (paper) knows our inner most secrets, desires and fantasies. And she's completely neutral in her discretions. No bad mouthing pen and paper.
