“Cool”;
It is a social

Faux pas.

So we cultivate our
Cynicism,
Since anything less than

Empty
Is
“Emo.”

We seek meaning in the lay
Of the
Paperclip spread,
And identity
On an envelope with no
Return address.

We don’t know the difference
Between
Living for the moment
And living
In it.
