have mercy

By disposable

the only time you hold my face
is when im on my knees
eyes closed and
praying
that the subservant position im in
will make me shine in your eyes
im still wishing, afterwards
when we're lying skin to skin
that you'll kiss my shoulder
with those lips i adore
and bestow me with a little more tenderness
i cant move
for the hope that you might run your hand up my soft thigh
and onto the line of my back
with weather rough hands
and the softness of a true lover
yet
you rest with those hands above your head
eyes closed in glory
and my afterglow melts into heartache
because it is then that i realize
when you come
to me
you come to release
and
when i come
i come
to you

Beautifully written. So sad when 1 person longs for something more
