Polish

By TheUltimateOutlaw

Tethered to an ideal
How bound we are;
Hollowed hearts carved;
Chiseled out
By waterfall emotions
Carried on currents,
Strung on strands of glass
And shell
To sandy banks of desire
Wind stripped raw
Pristine
Synergy of force and flux
Smooth and hard
As polished stones
We are.
