Waiting for Heartbreak

By meadowlea

Will it be the intelligent one who’s dealing?
Or his brother’s final sealing
They had all they could be given
Drugs are what they call living
Why do they succumb to the crap sold on the street?
Why are they so greedy to make money off the weak?
Can they look in the mirror and know they are not responsible for death
Heartbreak to come either ones dead or stuffed from the crap
Or the other will be in gaol taking the rap
Is this what we teach our kids?
Greed is ok so someone can get off their lid
It doesn’t matter what we sell if we didn’t someone else would
Does this mean we should?
How many disabled kids will be born?
Because of the ethics that you scorn
How many orphans’ lives will be wrecked?
By the chemical concoction you distributed
You don’t care
Even if it’s your brother or friends life you wear
Waiting
For the hearts to start breaking

I love it when people think they are perfect & aren't aware of what can be seen from watching outside. Look inside yourself Jake.
