.love is the holiest damnation.

"this is going to give you a headache,
but it will make your heart feel better."
"just make it stop...please..."
this is going to have a permanant effect.
i just know.
this is the crucifixtion of my love,
and that's my heart faintly beating
next to your left shoe on the cobblestone.
those are my tears quietly forming
raging rivers below me.
that is my love dying
with your symbols of humanity.
you make my wrists tired,
you make my chest hurt,
i think you cracked a rib.
asphixiation is the most horrifying form of birth.
love is the holiest damnation.
tears are the most humiliating sign of weakness.
kisses are the most incriminating death.
i'm getting bored with pain,
hurting isn't all too amusing anymore.
this is going to have a permanant effect.
i just know.

This was a good surprise - it's always nice to see a poet who's new here and who doesn't write forced rhymes about cutting and suicide. Your word use at the end was especially enjoyable.

It needs a little proofreading (crucifixion, permanent, asphyxiation), but, other than that, it has the air and confidence of a polished work, a horrifying birth of poetic wisdom!
