stupify

By insideout

life was bleak
a grayish tint to everything
Seemed nothing much mattered
just the nominal mundane
not much could flatter
this existence.
I woke one morning
to a silence more silent
than I've ever known
and a grin invaded my face.

amazing. there was something in there rarely felt in other poems. how such a message can mean so much in so little words is breathtaking.

Sometimes there's no reason to feel good. But you do anyway, and if you keep that going long enough, it becomes habit. Awesome work.

I'm going with monkey on this one. It does remind me of Darko. it's like one of those simple processes of thought you have when everything around you is still.
