methodical

By Moonflower

yeah
i sit here
i look around
walk through the town
trying to find my way
and
whistle slowly
and
the day just fades away

so i cant barely breathe some times
but
it takes the pain away
as i walk down cold aisles
becoming suddenly afraid

i just stare at the sunshine
always mocking
in its rays
steadily moving on
throughout every single day

and i know that it is time
slowly ticking far away
but i cant find the mercy to
relive another day.

Going through your works, you seem to have a very endearing spoken word flow and quality to you. Makes it feel a bit more personal, like a casual thought you're having that we are privy to eavesdrop.
