Humpty Dumpty

By BeautifullyRuined

hearts bleed black
in the darkness
I see your eyes
teardrops shimmer at the ends
of perfect lashes

a handful of heartache
to get through the day
I lay broken
Cinderella`s glass slipper
I didnt fit in

you were my only link to sanity
and you drove me crazy
it was ironic really
to know that you would be my downfall
when you were the one
who put me on a pedestal

I just wanted you
only you,
only you!!!

is it so hard to believe
that a whore could reform
that love really does change
even the most cynical

I fell in love
then i fell apart

Humpty Dumpty
and me
we have alot in common
only no one tried to put me back
together again

This totally reminds me of my poem, "The Great Fall Off The Wall". I liked this piece. Well done.
