May Death Relieve You from the Burden of Life

By Berry Fantastic

My skin is like leather
Hard and worn
And my voice is like wind through the trees

My bones are brittle
And my muscles are stiff
My eyes have seen too many things

Fear makes my heart cold porridge
And my mind weak
My lips are chapped and dry

The angels sing such soothing hymns
And I lay to rest
When I wake my soul will fly
