Liquorish Curled in Sunkissed Swirl

By DIATRICUS

Eloquence
Path I crave
Distant shadows of ever-more, long adored
Alacrity summoning me to muse's grave
Alas the Winter's solemn mourn

Revere
To wrest oneself from restful sway
Along this path of joy each day
Songs sans chorus of lifetimes spent
Arm in arm the lovers coiled, then wept

Cullfast
Satisfied to brink of whim
Nature came to me within, though
Left again
Fettered, sputtered, quickened fate
And yet another chance relate

Slayer
Of the dreaming, scheming twist
You alone I can't resist
Suffer unto song's remorse
Await, await the final course

Saunter passed the rosy shoals
Sever thickly tainted glum
Fire whipped from painted coals
Cheer along the saddened plum
Awaken
