Echos in Me
By steuss
I echo with the changing weather,
the different scent, and temperature
breeze, alters me, voids are remembered,
and like overlapping ripples, my
memory dredges, time-lost thoughts
bubble to my surface.
Echoing, I change with the air.
My earthbound connection,
and as summer kneels to
Northswept winter, mingling
they caper about my mind.
Fresh wind from higher skies brings my thoughts back from
the static holding basements of me.
Echoed, I ride my tides,
chaotic waves pendulum-like.
Between summer, winter, fall,
leapfrogging memories,
and swirling where they
merge.

I thoroughly enjoy the trend of elementalism in your words. I hate the cold myself but you make chill open space seem appealing.

excellent to see you post again; love the reverberations in this piece. . .nearly transcendental in its meditations. .. . breathy quaality .. . ness
