The Angel's Tears

By Shewolf

I awoke last Night
My forehead wet
From the tears of an Angel
I know not why
The Seraphim Cried
Perhaps
He Wept
For a Soul
Lost in ever present Darkness
Perhaps
He Mourned
A Heart
Broken by another’s Cruelty
Perhaps
He Grieved
For Love and Friendship
Forever Lost.
Or Perhaps
He simply shed tears
For the Damned…..
