Reminded

By caustic ink

Your scent is still lingering
Triggering daydreams
easing my tension
Knowing you're not...entirely gone

My neck still feels warm
From the breath of your slumber
My arms are still tingling
From being wrapped around you

The sounds of your pleasure
Still echo through my consciousness
Making my head spin
With dreams of our passion

I watched you drive off
Through frozen tears of sadness
As winter's fury consumed me
And it's teeth dug in tight

I am lost now without you
But I still have my memories
Which I cling to for sanity
As I long for the day
I'm no longer alone
