...kissing lotus petals...

By NikesRain

singing .hollow. across cold stones
…the echoes bounce
.reverberating. back consecutive blows
…wings fading
.quietly. perfumed in autumn
:
..i never thought..
the kiss
of snow
was anything
more than my .heartbeat.
ringing off icicles in a form of .grace.
:
falling in .waves. of prismatic moonlight
…the only thing i can see as beautiful
.hiding. in my water colored parchment skin
…collapsing useless
.sorrow. staining lashes
:
... i never thought
the delicacy
of a breeze
was anything
more than my .sighs.
dancing across drifting clouds .voiceless.
:
swept up in .illusions. of tenderness
...the one thing i wanted to hold close
.resting. in pools of dreaming naiveté
...cradled broken
.serenity. pulling deeper
:
staring .silent. across lost yesterdays
...tears slipping unknown
.descending. in far musings
...wings folded
.quietly. singing hollow
