Meaningless Vengance (Volume 2)

By Deadly Embrace

Walking the streets,
In horrific pain..
Wanting to cut,
A high I can't sustain,
Forever my emotions locked,
I've thrown away the key,
Whatever it takes to overcome,
That bitter memory of me..
M.y.s.e.l.f.
What I have become,
The overwhelming sting of my flesh..
Leaving my body numb,
I slide the blade across my skin,
Teasing my boiling veins,
For the little girl I used to be has been..
E.r.a.s.e.d.
Nothing shall remain,
Only a torn heart,
Tattered from years of wear,
No comfort shall reach this,
Battered and bruised form,
Only sympathetic stares,
Yet, I do not need your pity,
Nor do I need your help,
For self carnage is all I need,
To remind me of my pathetic self..

Pain and Pleasure.. are they seperate anymore? "Self carnage is all I need..." I love reading your works.. they express so much painful beauty. The first 4 lines remind me of times past. Thank you. -Michael
