I Was Just Wondering...

By Midnight Shadow

Every time it rains,
Are you shedding new tears?
When the sun goes down,
Are your eyes closed yet?
As times moves slowly by,
Are you moving as well?
If I could feel your arms around me,
Would every minute feel forever safe?
If I could gaze into your golden eyes,
Would it be like looking into the sun?
Whenever the wind moves through the trees,
Are you whispering in my ear?
If I feel the sun's warmth on me,
Am I in your thoughts?
As I move about the shadows,
Do you stand in them watching over me?
If I could find you within all my unhappiness,
Would you be considered a miracle?

Silver eyes are no less than golden ones...you look into them and see, not the reflection of the sun, but a reflection of the moon, full and bright in the midnight sky. ~Tracy

Feeling lonely lately? Or reading my mind again (please close the door when you come in so the air-conditioning stays inside). I think it's going around. You write with a powerful combination of compassion and empathy

when we reach the 'absolute' alone...it's almost like everything comes to life. Not everything has a face but everything speaks. A beautiful ponder:)
