34 thoughts and a Headache

By WinterGrave

In my hole i spend wrenched hours
in my mind
i hide inside my head
for solitude in this world....

but then i start to think

i start thinking....

thinking thoughts
and
thinking about thoughts.
when my thoughts start thinking
i cant help
but I think of more thoughts
then i think to myself
how much it hurts to think of these thoughts
thinking how much it hurts to think each thought
then thinking about placing them in order
so each thought
does not get entangled with the next thought.
it gets so messed up,
i cant think about my thoughts,
i start thinking about not thinking about my thoughts
and it hurts worse to think about not thinking
about my thoughts
then IM forced to think harder about my thoughts
and it hurts more
and entangles more
and I think more
and I think faster
and I think faster
and I think faster
and faster
and faster
and it hurts
and I cant help but think about thinking about the thoughts I think up inside my head.
............
.......
...........
.......
............
and now i have a headache.

This is why i suck at meditation. "try not to think about anything"... so then i think about trying not to think... *sigh* Fine piece, this. :)

A great interpretation of how a person becomes confused when having too much on the mind. Each thought acts as a wave crashing into the next thought.
