Tremble

By Redemption

Man walks, and to the skies he gazes
To see the black bird fly, effortlessly, overhead
A creature, symbolic in many ways
Yet to this one, this man
It goes unnoticed

So be it

Watch then, as she flies onward
Be content with it
As she flies into the storm that gathers

It is about that time
When the light need surround you no longer
As is retreats back, welcoming the storm
And the dark that follows

Tremble

As the storm gathers overhead
And the bird flies gleefully
Lonely, yet free in the skies

While you and every lesser being retreat
To free yourself from the rain, and light now void.

Hide then
And tremble when the storm cries
Because under the tempest that came
Look out and see the bird fly free
Regardless of the elements around it

And tremble
