  • "R.I.P. Kristie..Still such a shock despite the turbulence and obstacles of her life. She was such a great poet and I’ll always remember her fondly on this site as well as on Ink Circus. This was a wonderful tribute. *raises a toast in memory of Kristie*"

  • "I saw visions while reading this. A ballet dancers feet, cracked and bleeding for the dream to Be. Falcons swooping alongside a cliff, dangerous and deep and deadly, but so thrilling. And more than anything I saw the witch I once was, whispering sweet passions sadly to the poisons and antidotes, slipping through a quiet woodland. This is etched into my mind. Thank you."

  • "It's important not to disappear. To be loved and understood more than just holding someone. It's easiest to forget the ones right next to you, taking for granted what it took so long to find. I believe that to choose love when every other opinion says to save yourself, preserves a part of who we are and why we touched foot to existence in the first place."

  • "This is a soothing, piece with a gentle hope to it through the imagery of the hummingbird. Although it is caught between breezes, and thus stuck beyond its control...it is ultimately a condition that will pass and a breeze can be chosen to that will take it somewhere it intends to go. Wonderful imagery! I especially liked the lines "the fabric of everything tore away and i trembled as i felt it fly from me beyond my overly soft reaching empty hands full of scars daydream stains wrapping my fingers" - quite stunning. I agree with Drea's assessment of the dreamlike quality of your work. Ciao, T/S"

  • ""a hummingbird with a heartbeat caught between breezes" That line is so beautiful. I've read this a few times. For me your writing has always been dream like. It has this wonderful haziness about it that's so soothing. I'm so glad I got to read this. "
