- "I love the voice of this. An awakening and bold resolve laced with ... something more than just sadness or loss, something deeper, more inflicting. The opening is strong and no nonsense, moving smoothly though and finishing with a resigned doneness."

- "I enjoyed this piece quite a bit. "I refer to this state of mindset solely as, Black Licorice. -one word, disgusting. -No two! fucking disgusting."That line made me laugh pretty hard and that doesn't happen very often. Love this piece, very personal. Awesome piece!

- "A tomato, saltine crackers, and a tin of smoked oysters - a meal fit for a king (or queen) Netti.
So good to read you again and I'm almost normal now that I don't drink anymore. Enjoyed getting to know you a little better here in this personal piece. Be good to yourself and cheers! - Dan"

- "I actually read through the whole entire thing, thats a good thing my mind generally wanders when trying to get through a long poem or write. This was engaging though, humorous, just a tiny sad and perfectly penned honesty. Which it makes it perfect. There were many great lines in this, I'm not going to go in pick them apart..This deserves a 10 and alot more reads thank you for sharing yourself in this awesome write :)"

- "I had one of these nights last night. Weird, how you've been with someone a year and a half almost and yet haven't made eye contact while making love. Last night that changed and this poem is a perfect representation of all I felt. I can't even imagine how wonderful it was from your perspective. Well wrought, Nettle."
