  • "This is an amazing statement given in the style of a question I suppose. I wonder if it started as a question in you that you realized you already had the answer and all you did was pull it out. After all is said and done, when we write of longing for someone to hold hands with do we also ask for the fortitude and faith that we would need to "make it" in such a longing under the circumstances you have stated. Or as I seem to tell each new Girlfriend only to receive a look of great dismay, "Obviously if you and I were any good at this you and I wouldn't be climbing into bed now. Well said, Silver Spectre"
