Conjuring memories and toying with dreams... it seems as if the ideal mixes with the real... and the real must depart... swallowed, or frightened away? Is it love or longing that erases the lines of sanity? I love the way the smoke becomes a mysterious symbol transcending the work and resisting placement within the occasion... like the blurring of distinctions, perhaps.
